The girls seem to be feeling better, and we have been spending a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather! We are getting ready to participate in the March for Babies this coming weekend. We are really excited about the opportunity to celebrate our miracle babies! If you haven't sponsored our team yet and still want to, you can click on the March for Babies link. Again, we want to THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS SPONSORED OUR TEAM! We will post pictures after the walk!

Beautiful Stella!

Beautiful Emerson!

Emerson is going to be a 2 sport athlete!

James went to the Cardinals game last week, and brought souvenirs back for the girls. They love playing with their pink bats, and so far they haven't used them as weapons!

Stella kept pushing the basketball up through the basket!

Emerson got the hang of it a little faster, and can even dunk the basketball!

Stella's hair has started to grow, and she finally has enough for a tiny pony tail! She took the rubber band out as soon as I turned my back!

We haven't given the girls many opportunities to spoon feed themselves. They finger feed themselves at every meal, and we try to give them spoons to hold during meals. We usually help them when they are eating foods that they can't pick up with their fingers, and we NEVER give them the bowl or plate. Tonight, we decided to give them bowls of applesauce with spoons and let them "practice." They both did really well with using the spoons, but they eventually realized that it was faster to use their hands and eat directly out of the bowl! They went directly into the bathtub when they were finished with their applesauce!

The girls' Auntie Tina and cousins Anna, Matt, and Michael went to Disney World for Spring Break. They got the girls adorable Minnie Mouse outfits while they were there, and we got them in the mail yesterday. Stella loves doing "fashion shows" and is starting to be very proud of her clothes. Here is our fashion show:

Emerson usually enjoys "fashion shows" but wasn't feeling great yesterday. Thanks Auntie Tina, Anna, Matt, and Michael for the outfits!

Mamaw Ruth and Papaw Marty gave the girls St. Louis Cardinals pajamas for Easter. I wasn't able to get a very good picture of their pajamas, but they are really cute.

Thanks Mamaw Ruth and Papaw Marty for the new pajamas! Go Cards!

We took the girls to Indiana to spend Easter with James' family. They both did okay travelling, and seemed to be pretty worn out when we finally got home. We took a ton of pictures over the weekend, enjoy!

Stella enjoyed walking around Grandpa Kim's store and looking at all of the tractors.

Emerson couldn't quite reach the pedals!

Great Grandma MaryAnn and Great Grandpa Bob got the girls Dora hats.

Great Grandpa Bob was trying to hold Emerson, but she couldn't sit still long enough to be held.

Great Grandma MaryAnn got out some toys for the girls to play with.

Mommy with Emerson during the Easter egg hunt. The girls' Great Aunts, Kathy and Karen, organized an incredible Easter egg hunt for all of the kids. The girls loved it!

Aunt Kathy made an Easter bunny costume and recruited a kid to wear it! We thought the girls would be scared of the Easter bunny, but they loved it!

Emerson kept putting her Easter basket around her neck.

Both girls playing with their cousin, Abby. They love playing with older kids.

Great Grandpa Bob finally got Stella to hold still long enough for me to get a picture of him holding her!

Over the weekend, the girls got to meet their new cousin, Ellie. They weren't really sure what to think of her, but they didn't seem to mind her unless their mommy was holding her!

The girls were so tired when we got back home. They were resting on the couch with their daddy an entire hour before bedtime!

Thanks to all of our friends and family for the Easter gifts!

Our family has been really sick for the last few weeks! James has stayed fairly healthy, but the girls and I seem to be passing around some nasty illnesses. We went back to the pediatrician today for a follow up exam from the last ear infections. Both of the girls' ears had improved, but they both have sinusitis and chest congestion now. We are going to try different antibiotics and start breathing treatments again. It seems like we might all get better if the weather would stay warm!
The girls are both growing up so fast! They are getting really good at naming body parts and making animal sounds. Emerson talks non-stop, and is constantly trying to be the big helper. Stella is walking great, but she still "knee-walks" occasionally. She doesn't talk as much as Emerson, but it might have something to do with the binky in her mouth!

James and I went to Indiana for his great uncle's funeral a few weeks ago, and we were able to spend a a little bit of time with our new niece, Ellie.

I love these videos!
