We are all doing great, and the girls are finally healthy again. We are so excited to participate in the March for Babies again this year! It is so great to honor our miracle babies with our family and friends! If you would like to walk with us, please feel free to sign up. If you can't walk with us, please consider making a donation to our team. www.marchforbabies.org/emdawn00.
This year we changed our team name to Precious J.E.M.S. J.E.M.S. stands for Jessica, Emerson, Michelle, and Stella. Our family's struggle with prematurity began when I was very young. My Aunt Cindy and Uncle Al's first baby was born prematurely and didn't survive. Her name was Jessica, and she would be 24 this year. Their next baby, Michelle, was born nine weeks early, and will be graduating from nursing school in a few weeks! My aunt and uncle were a huge support to James and I when our girls were in the hospital. Their understanding of the situation gave us strength. That is why we wanted to remember Jessica and honor Michelle this year along with Emerson and Stella. Thank you to EVERYONE who has already made donations and signed up to walk with us! This is a very special event for our family.
Here are some pictures from the last few weeks:
I was reading in bed (with my snuggie) yesterday afternoon while the girls were napping. When they woke up, they wanted to lay in our bed too. They also both wanted to share mommy's snuggie! We might need to find baby snuggies! Mo decided to get in the picture too.
