MARCH FOR BABIES!
We are getting really excited about the upcoming March for Babies! March of Dimes mission is very close to our hearts. Their goal is to help all babies get their full 9 months. Our lives were changed forever when our babies were born 15 weeks early. We are very blessed to have two beautiful, healthy babies, but it has been a long, painful journey to get to where we are now.
We are still hoping to get more walkers and sponsors to join our team. We are so excited to be able to celebrate and honor our miracle babies, and to be able to participate in such a great event. Please consider joining our team, and/or sponsoring our team. If you have any questions feel free to email me, or check out my page: http://www.marchforbabies.org/emdawn00.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO HAS ALREADY SIGNED UP TO WALK WITH US AND/OR HAS SPONSORED OUR TEAM!!!

Our front facing girls!

They love their pink swings!

This is what happens when the bathroom door is left open!

Toilet paper is a lot of fun!

I went into the bedroom, and James thought the girls were with me (and I thought they were with him.) They had the toilet paper stretched into the kitchen before he realized that they weren't with me, and the bathroom door had been left open! Our initial reaction was to grab the camera!

The girls were weighed again today, and Stella is over 20lbs! Now her car seat can be front facing too! Since they are both walking, it was time to buy them big girl shoes. Grandma Natalie and Grandpa Kim bought them See Kai Run shoes. The shoes are really nice, and they are so cute! Here are some pictures of the girls showing off their new shoes:

Thanks for the beautiful shoes Grandma Natalie and Grandpa Kim!

We celebrated my birthday on Saturday night. James and I went to Balducci's winery with my parents. The winery was beautiful, and the food was awesome! The girls stayed with Uncle Eric, Aunt Brandi, and cousin Ruthi.

Emerson loves her sunglasses, and she also loves Mamaw's computer!

Stella also loves her sunglasses!

We went to the doctor on Friday for the girls' 18 month check ups. Emerson weighed 20lbs 2oz, and Stella weighed 19lbs 4oz! We were able to turn Emerson's car seat around, but Stella's car seat still has to be rear facing for a little longer.

Emerson was 30 1/4 inches long, and Stella was 29 3/4 inches long! Both of their lengths and head circumferences are on the 18 month growth chart! Their weights still aren't quite on the growth chart, but they are getting really close!

Emerson and Stella had their 18 month/Easter pictures taken today. They both did great and were on their best behavior! Here are their big girl pictures:

Thanks Mamaw Ruth for the adorable dresses and Aunt Karen for the beautiful Easter baskets!

STELLA IS WALKING!!!!

Stella just started walking with assistance a few days ago, but she decided to walk independently today! Cousin Ruthi spent the night, and I think Stella was tired of being left out. She is amazing!

The girls were weighed again on Monday when they got their RSV shots. Emerson weighed 19lbs 10oz, and Stella weighed 19lbs 1oz! I'm not sure how Emerson was able to pass Stella so quickly, but I think the weights from a few weeks ago might have been wrong. We are so proud of how big our girls are getting, and we are very excited to put them in front-facing car seats when they FINALLY get to 20lbs!
James' basketball season ended last night, and the girls and I are very excited for him to be home more. I was able to go to the game last night, but we didn't want to have the girls out that late so they stayed home with their Nana Sharlla. The girls love Sharlla (Dennis and Brittni too), and it's nice to have extra people to help out when we need it. Thanks Sharlla!
Stella is finally showing some interest in walking. She walked behind her push toy for a long time this morning, and is starting to walk when we hold her hands. We are so proud of our baby girl!

Emerson loves holding the banana peel.

This kid is nuts!

Silly Stella

The girls got gifts in the mail from their Great Aunt Karen and Uncle Larry. Emerson has been carrying both bears around since yesterday!

Stella put her finger in her nose, and I laughed. Now she won't stop!

Emerson is very attached to her "nigh-nigh." She holds the blanket up to her mouth and nose to comfort herself.
I love this picture of Stella. It's hard to get her to smile for pictures.

I can't believe Sharlla was able to get a picture of the girls sitting next to each other and smiling!
