The girls are doing good today. Emerson's doing a little better each day and Stella is continuing to progress as well. They're going to try and take Emerson off the chest tube vent this weekend. They are both over 2 lbs now. Here are a couple pics of the girls.

I just checked out Emerson's and Stella's website. WOW!!!!!!!!!! You have done an awesome job at telling their story and keeping everyone updated with their progress. The pictures are awesome as well. Having a premature baby is one of the hardest events that most parents ever experience, and you guys are doing it x2. I have learned over the years that God always has a plan for his children. We don't always understand the plan or like it either, but it is not up to us. I have seen many families going through the same things that you are dealing with at the moment. It is so hard, especially when you have twins. It is definitely a roller coaster ride, one day Emerson is doing fine, Stella needs surgery and so you worry about Stella. Then Stella does great and Emerson gets pneumonia, so you worry about Emerson. It is crazy! This is probably the hardest most stressful experience that you guys will ever have to face. You are an amazing couple, and your love for each other and the girls is awesome. Hang in there, it will get easier, I promise.
Thanks so much for letting the nurses and doctors be part of your journey, the miracle of Emerson and Stella. I love taking care of your girls and getting to know both of you. You are going to be awesome parents (you already are). Take care.

SO many love you guys its alsome the surpport network you guys have, I know Iam proud to be your friend and be a part of this stuggle with you guys. God loves you all so much and you can see his hand prints on every moment of the twins birth, and its neat to see him giving you both faith and strength but also him building the faith of so many others.
