HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
part 2
After the pumpkin patch, Mamaw Ruth and I took the girls to the bank to trick or treat and visit with mamaw's friends. Then we all went out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings, and we found out that the girls love ranch dressing! Finally, we went into St. Louis to trick or treat with Papaw's family. The weather was perfect! Mamaw Ruth made coordinating shirts for all three of the girls, and Aunt Brandi made pumpkin hats for them to wear. They all looked so cute!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
part 1
We took the girls to Pumpkins Galore this afternoon. They got to play in a trough full of soy beans, go to a petting zoo, and do many other fun things. They will also be going trick or treating tonight (sort of.) I will post more pictures tomorrow!

Emerson and Stella were not very happy about sitting on the pumpkin bench!

Emerson loved the swing set!

Stella loved the soybeans!
More soybeans...

Emerson and Stella have both started playing peekaboo! I don't have any pictures of it, but I will try to get some.
This is the hairdo that Emerson woke up with this morning:

Emerson has started feeding herself. She is actually refusing to be spoon fed now! She thinks she is hot stuff!

Now that Stella has mastered crawling, she has started talking again. It is hilarious!

The girls got dressed up today to go to the nursing home to visit their Papa Fox. Of course, I didn't bring my camera to the nursing home, but I did get some cute pictures when we got home. Mamaw Ruth made Halloween shirts for the girls. Here they are:

If you look really closely, you can see a few long hairs sticking straight up on top of Stella's head (I think they are original hairs)

The girls are starting to get along better when they are playing.

I love this picture, but they look like they are about to get into trouble!

We had the privilege of spending some extra time with our niece, Ruthi, this week. Ruthi is getting to a really fun age, and the girls love playing with her. Emerson was a lot more motivated to work on walking along furniture when she was trying to keep up with Ruthi. Emerson tries to act like a big kid when she is around older kids. Stella doesn't seem to be as competitive as Emerson, but she does enjoy having somebody different to play with!

Stella's hair is finally starting to grow! It is growing so fast that it seems like we can see it growing! She is also starting to act very silly, and she will do things now just to get you to laugh at her. I swear she said "BoBo" last week (while looking at Rambo) and it sounded like she tried to say "Emerson" a few nights ago! Her teeth are still working on coming in all the way and they are really cute!

Emerson is still teething, but only has one tooth right now. We are trying to keep her hair pulled up out of her face because it is getting really thick and long. Last week Emerson said "no" and shoplifted! She is getting pretty grabby when we are shopping, and she managed to make it out of Target with a hat and mittens tucked into her stroller! We were in another store before we realized what had happened. I was mortified, and to make things worse my mom (Mamaw Ruth) just kept laughing! We took the hat and mittens back down to the security guard in Target, and he just laughed at us. We are going to have to keep an eye on her!

Stella stopped taking her Prevacid a few weeks ago, and seems to be doing great!!! We won't miss the acid reflux! We have another busy week ahead of us, but things should slow down again by next week. The girls are both trying to imitate sounds and words. It is pretty funny. When we say, "Yay!" Emerson will start trying to imitate the high pitched sound and Stella will start clapping. Emerson has also started putting her head on the floor and looking through her legs...I was finally able to get a few pictures of it. I guess the world seems to make more sense when everything is upside down!

Stella officially has 6 teeth (possibly 7)

One of her top teeth came in faster so she looks like a little hillbilly!

Stella got her feelings hurt (I told her NO)

We had a crazy week with different appointments and softball games. Stella is still teething, and Emerson seems to be more motivated to work on walking along furniture. Here is one of the pictures that we had taken on their birthday:
